Kitchen Operations
Food Preparation
Assist regularly (weekly, fortnightly or monthly) in preparing and cooking meals in the FOFA kitchen.
Food Collection
Collect food donations and supplies from FoodBank, Outer East Foodshare, partner agencies, and donors.
Pantry Support Team
Oversee pantry inventory to ensure food quality and availability.
Label Printing
Printing of Labels for FOFA meals.
Logistics and Distribution Support
Manage the distribution of prepared meals to FOFA’s partner agencies and service networks.
Kitchen Cleaning Support
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen cookware, utensils, and containers.
Stock intake/management
of raw materials
Sorting incoming raw materials, oversee freezer and cold storage inventory to ensure food quality and availability.
Workplace Safety and Compliance
Help maintain a safe and healthy workplace for all FOFA volunteers.
Procurement and Purchasing
Source, purchase, and manage supplies and food donations that support FOFA’s meal preparation.
Logistics and Distribution Support
Manage the distribution of prepared meals to FOFA’s partner agencies and service networks.
Laundry/Cleaning support
Keep the kitchen and facilities clean, organised and hygienic.
General Support
Assist with ad-hoc activities as needed, such as food drives, community events, or urgent deliveries.

Promote FOFA’s work through communication, media, and partnerships.
Administration & Volunteer Resources
Volunteer Management and Welfare
Support the coordination, wellbeing, and retention of FOFA volunteers.
Fundraising and Events Support
Help plan and run fundraising activities and community events to raise awareness and resources for FOFA.
Administration and Accounting
Support FOFA’s financial and administrative operations to ensure transparency and good governance.
